Products & availability

All items offered in the shop are handmade ceramics.

Because of this:

• each piece is slightly different,

• variations in form, glaze, surface, and color are natural,

• these differences are not considered defects.

Product photographs and descriptions aim to represent each piece as accurately as possible, but no two objects are ever identical.

Once a piece is sold, it is usually not reproduced.

Pricing & currency

All prices are listed in EUR (€).

Prices reflect:

• handmade production,

• materials,

• firing processes,

• and the time required to make each object.

Prices may change without notice.

Taxes & VAT (European Union)

For customers within the European Union, VAT is added at checkout once the shipping country is selected.

This is a standard EU e-commerce requirement and applies automatically.

Orders & cancellations

Orders are processed carefully and individually.

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled unless it has not yet been packed or prepared for shipment.

Returns & exchanges

All sales are final.

OYU does not accept returns for change of mind.

Because each piece is made in limited quantities and often as a one-off, returning items creates waste and disrupts the studio’s process.

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact the studio within 14 days of delivery so the issue can be resolved.

Care & use

OYU ceramics are made to be used.

General care guidelines:

• Hand washing is recommended.

• Many pieces are dishwasher safe, but frequent machine washing may shorten their lifespan.

• Avoid sudden temperature changes.

• Treat ceramics as functional objects that benefit from thoughtful use.
