Shipping & Handling
All orders are shipped directly from the OYU studio in Poland.
Each piece is packed carefully and dispatched individually, with attention to safety and minimal waste wherever possible.
Processing Time:
Orders are typically processed within 1–4 business days after purchase.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.
In rare cases, processing times may be longer (for example, during releases or high order volume). If this happens, you will be informed.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Times:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
Poland - 1 - 3 business days
European Union - 2 - 7 business days
United Kingdom & Europe - 5 - 10 business days
US and Canada - 7 - 14 business days
Asia, Australia, South America - 10 - 16 business days
Tracking & Confirmation:
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Tracking updates are provided by the shipping carrier and may take some time to appear after dispatch.
Delays & lost parcels:
Occasional delays can happen, especially with international shipments.
A parcel is considered lost only after the carrier has completed its investigation:
EU shipments: after 45 days from dispatch
International shipments: after 60 days from dispatch
If a parcel is officially declared lost, a replacement (if available) or a full refund including shipping costs will be offered.
Failed or returned deliveries:
If a parcel is returned to the studio due to:
incorrect or incomplete shipping address,
failure to collect the parcel,
unpaid customs duties or taxes,
a new shipping fee will be required to resend the order.
If no re-shipping arrangement is made within 12 months, the order will be considered unclaimed and forfeited.
Shipping to the United States
Important notice
Due to recent changes in U.S. customs and tariff regulations, international postal services (including USPS) are currently unavailable for shipments from Europe to the United States.
As a temporary solution, all U.S. orders are shipped via FedEx.
This ensures reliable delivery, but results in higher shipping costs, which currently start at approximately €40.
These measures are in place to avoid lost parcels and unreliable delivery.
Customs Fees & Additional Charges
Shipments to the United States may be subject to customs duties or import fees, typically estimated at 10–14% of the declared value.
In most cases, parcels arrive without additional charges.
However, all customs decisions are made entirely by U.S. Customs and FedEx, and are outside of the studio’s control.
Any applicable duties or fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Unclaimed parcels & failed delivery
If a parcel is returned due to:
unpaid customs duties or fees,
refusal of delivery,
or failure to collect the shipment,
FedEx may apply additional return charges.
Due to the high cost of international shipping, U.S. orders are not eligible for refunds in such cases.
If a returned parcel is to be shipped again, an additional shipping fee will apply.
Returns from the United States
Return shipping from the United States to Europe is currently extremely expensive due to the same regulatory changes.
For this reason, U.S. orders are not eligible for standard returns, unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

Returns & Exchanges
OYU is a small, independent studio. Each piece is made and released in limited quantities.
For this reason, we encourage thoughtful and informed purchases.
Please take the time to read product descriptions, dimensions, and photographs carefully before ordering.
Returns (EU customers)
In accordance with EU consumer law, you may return an item within 14 days of receiving it.
Conditions:
Items must be unused and returned in their original packaging
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
Original shipping costs are non-refundable
Once the return is received and inspected, a refund for the item price will be issued.
Exchanges
Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis and depend on availability.
Please contact the studio before returning any item.
Custom orders
Custom orders are made specifically for you.
For this reason, custom pieces are not eligible for return or exchange, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Damaged items
If your order arrives damaged, please contact the studio within 7 days of delivery.
To process a claim, we require:
photos of the damaged item,
photos of all internal and external packaging.
Once confirmed, a replacement (if available) or refund will be arranged.
A note on scale & expectations
Ceramic objects can appear larger or smaller in photographs than in real life.
We provide detailed dimensions and volume information for each piece to help you make an informed decision.

Taxes and Fees
European Union
For customers within the European Union (excluding Poland), VAT is added at checkout based on your shipping address, in accordance with EU VAT OSS regulations.
The final price including VAT will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Outside the European Union
For customers outside the EU:
No VAT is charged
Import duties, customs fees, or local taxes may apply
These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost. Please check your local customs regulations before ordering.
